The All-Progressives Congress, APC, in the Gombe North Senatorial District has held an enlarged stakeholders meeting, where they deliberated extensively on the issues of governance, security and progress of the state.
Stakeholders in the zone also discussed the issues of the party’s success, unity and progress in the state.
At the end of deliberations, members collectively acknowledged their pride in identifying with the successes of the APC-led administration under the leadership of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya in addressing the long-standing infrastructural deficits throughout the state.
They are particularly proud of the entrenchment of inclusive growth and development, as well as the pursuit of all-encompassing reforms in the public sector for improved service delivery.
‘We particularly note with great pride how His Excellency successfully and unprecedentedly put Gombe State on the global map by making our dear state the number one state in ease of doing business among the 36 states and the FCT,” they said.
The APC stakeholders equally appreciated the developmental strides being witnessed in Gombe State under the able leadership of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya in all facets of human endeavour in the challenging times while commending his avowed commitment to the sustenance of the prevailing peace and security in the state.
In recognition of the tremendous achievements of Governor Yahaya in his two years of stewardship as the governor of the state and particularly the gigantic projects in Gombe North Senatorial District, the APC Stakeholders passed a Vote of Confidence on Governor Yahaya and reiterated their commitment to continue to support him in his efforts to make Gombe State great.
They listed some of the development projects in the zone to include the establishment of the Teacher Resource Center at Kwami, Complete renovation and upgrading of the Specialist Hospital in Gombe, construction of the Malala-Zaune-Dukkuyel road in Dukku, upgrading of the General Hospital in Bajoga, the reconstruction of the bridge linking Dukku, Funakaye and Nafada LGAs amongst other numerous projects across all the wards.
The Gombe North Stakeholders have also recognised Governor Yahaya as the Party leader in the state and unanimously resolved to support him by working assiduously to promote unity, stability and peace among all members of the great party and the state at large.
They, however, said they were concerned by the recent developments within the party and in the opposition to cause discord and rancour amongst members of the party.
The Gombe North members of the APC stakeholders, therefore, appealed to all party members to ignore the behaviour of those fomenting trouble and remain steadfast in their commitment and loyalty to the party and government.
They assurance all loyal members of the party that they would continue to carry everyone along, as evidenced in the appointment of numerous sons and daughters of Gombe North into key positions in his administration.
