Senatorial Candidate Empowers Over 2000 Youths On Sports Development

A Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Senatorial candidate of Ebonyi Central, Mr Lazarus Ogbe has empowered over 2000 Ebonyi State Youths on Sports development.

Senator Ogbee organised a football competition where young talents are discovered in Ebonyi State.

The Football Competition was also to channel the Youths into making them  productive through sporting activities.

Ogbee said apart from harnessing the talent of the Youths from his Senatorial Zone, it is also a way of making the Area peaceful and United.

“This Goodluck Unity Cup has kept my people in one love, strongly unite, and at the same time has also empowered them financially. Am doing all these because I Know that many of them will not end up as local players. From what I have seen today during the tonerment, I have a dream that these boys am empowering and harnesing their talents today will become international players of Fame one day. But it is good as we have started encouraging them at this Grassroot level,”

“Since 2008 till date, we have been in this football tonerment, and to the glory of God, our Youths have been equipped with all necessary training to face their counterparts there in the society to make themselves famous in the area of footballing” he explained.

He said he believed in empowering the youths in different vocations.

The Senatorial Candidate therefore urged the people of the Zone to vote for him and others who are contesting under the platform of PDP from Presidential to House of Assembly to continue in his ongoing empowerment programs already on going.

The teams that played the finals are ‘Egwudulegu’ and ‘Idah’  football teams, at the end, Idah football team defeated Egwudulegu with one goal to nothing.

The Chairman Organizing Committee of Good luck Unity cup, Comrade Solomon Chizoba Ikpozu Expressed joy on the youth  development style of Chief Ogbee.

Ikpozu congratulated  the teams who later made it to the end of the tonerment.
