Voting has begun at the Polling Unit 014, Egunrege, Ikenne Ward 1, Ikenne LGA, Ogun State for Saturday’s Governorship and State House of Assembly.

At exactly 8.30am Nigerian time, an assistant presiding officer of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, announced the commencement of the election.

The officer said “the balloting process would involve the accreditation and voting at the same thing.”

Vice President Osinbajo and his wife, Dolapo, will vote in the Polling Unit 14.

The security at the polling unit and its environs is quite good under the watch of a policeman and a female officer of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC.

The weather here is also clement as the early morning sun is mild, making the exercise easy for voters and the officials.
