The voting process for the Gubernatorial and states House of Assembly election has commenced in parts of Kano Metropolis in North West, Nigeria with a visible heavy security presence.
The people of Kano within the Metropolis visited so far have poured out to their various polling units, ready to cast their votes.
While voting has commenced in some places, INEC officials are seen setting up and briefing voters on the process in other areas.
The security is quite heavy as patrol vehicles could be seen patrolling and sirens could be heard across the city.
Polling units visited so far are seen to have no less than 5 or more securities.
