Nigeria’s Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, is presiding over the virtual meeting of the Federal Executive Council, which began at 10 am Nigerian time on Wednesday in the Council Chambers of the State House, Abuja.
Prof. Osinbajo is chairing the meeting in the absence of President Muhammadu Buhari who, on Tuesday, proceeded to London, the United Kingdom for a routine medical check-up.
Ministers who are physically present at the meeting are those of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi; Power, Mamman Saleh; Information, Lai Mohammed; Finance, Budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed; and Aviation, Hadi Sirika.
Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mohammed Bello are also attending the meeting at the Council Chambers.
Other ministers virtually joined the meeting from their offices.
