The Nigeria’s senior men’s cricket team, the Yellow Greens, have arrived Entebbe International Airport in Uganda ahead of the Pearl of Africa T20 Series.
A 20-man contingent, which comprises of 14 players and six officials left Lagos enroute Uganda for the tournament scheduled from Thursday to July 27.

Led by captain Sylvester Okpe, the team features a mix of seasoned talents and exciting new faces as David Ankrah and Jimoh Abdulrahman get their first national call-up.
Backed by an experienced technical bench headed by coach Steve Tikolo, the team are set to represent Nigeria with pride.

Nigeria will compete alongside hosts Uganda, Kenya, Namibia and United Arab Emirates.
The tournament will serve as preparation ahead of the ICC T20 Men’s World Cup Qualifier in September.
