The third batch of 533 pilgrims from Kwara State who participated in this year’s Hajj pilgrimage have landed safely after completing the 2026 Hajj exercise in Saudi Arabia.
The pilgrims arrived at the General Babatunde Idiagbon International Airport, Ilorin, aboard a Max Air flight at 1:10pm on Tuesday accompanied by members of the state Pilgrims Welfare Board.

With the arrival of the 533 pilgrims, the total number of pilgrims who had returned to Kwara State now stands at 1,486 out of the 1,714 pilgrims who participated in this year’s Hajj from the state.
In a statement by the Press Secretary, Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Mrs Jumoke Jimmy, the last batch of the State pilgrims who participated in the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage are expected to arrive in Ilorin on Friday within the same week.
