Heartland FC coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu has urged the club’s management to respect players’ contracts.

Ilechukwu, who is in his third season at the club, said the club had failed to honour several agreements with their players, which had affected the club’s performance lately.

“So many issues have affected us this season, but basically I feel they should respect players’ contracts and help us drive this club in the right direction.

“This has been the problem and some others. We are working hard with the players to ensure we achieve our aims this season,” Ilechukwu stated.

The Naze Millionaires have won three games from their opening nine Nigerian Professional Football League season and are 15th on the log.

Heartland will face Lobi week 10 of the NPFL fixtures.
