The Nigerian Senate has confirmed the appointment of Abdulrasheed Bawa as the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
This was disclosed by the Senate via its official Twitter handle on Wednesday afternoon.

The Senate had earlier screened Abdulrasheed Bawa before the confirmation of his appointment.
President Muhammadu Buhari last week, nominated and asked the Senate to confirm him as the substantive Chairman of the Commission.
