Nasarawa PDP Chairman tasks Traditional Rulers on neutrallity

The Chairman, People Democratic Party (PDP), in Nasarawa State, Mr. Francis Orogu, has called on the traditional rulers in the state to maintain neutrality in electing leaders.

Orogu stated this during the continuation of the party’s campaign in Nasarawa eggon local government of the state.

He urged the traditional rulers to remove their hands from politics for peace and development to strive, adding that they are peacemakers of the community.

We respect you for your role as the father of the community, if you want to do politics, you should leave the throne and participate fully in politics”.

Speaking, the former PDP Board of trustee chairman, senator Walid Jibrin enjoined Nigerians not to align themselves with the Muslim-Muslim agenda.

“I call on Nigerians to vote for PDP candidates irrespective of religion or tribal sentiment. Religion politics is unhealthy for our country’s democracy”, senator Jibrin said.

He further stressed the need for Nasarawa youths to vote for the PDP candidates from the federal to the state levels; adding that PDP is the only party that can salvage the country from its difficulties.

The DG PDP campaign council, Mr Labaran Maku, charged the PDP members to go collect their permanent voters cards PVC, as it is their mandate to vote for candidates of their choice.
