2023 Elections: Accreditation and voting commence in Kaduna State

Accreditation and voting have commenced in Kaduna North and South Local Government Areas of the state.

Our correspondent reports though some wards within the local government areas received the sensitive materials late, those that collected early commenced voting almost immediately.

The election process is being conducted in a peaceful manner as many electorates who had joined the queue abided by all the rules of engagement.

It was also observed that, in the early hours of this morning, there seem to be more male voters than women in the queue.

And in line with the government’s efforts to check politicians’ excesses, security personnel have been put in place to ensure a successful poll.

Generally, Kaduna town is secure and calm and people who are seen moving around are orderly.
