Speaking while monitoring the exercise in some parts of the State, the Acting Resident Electoral Commissioner, REC, Mr Oyekola Oyelami who described the exercise as relatively peaceful across the State said it is too early to compare and contrast the turnout of voters during the last and present election.

While noting that there has not been any security breach in the State since the commencement of the poll, the acting REC lauded the combined efforts of the security agencies in the State in ensuring a hitch-free exercise.

Also speaking, the State Comptroller of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Mrs OluFunmi Bosede educated the people and officials of INEC on the need to ensure non-Nigerians do not participate in the exercise.

Bosede explained that the exercise has been peaceful and the turnout is on average with more people still trying to come out to vote.
