Guber Polls: Niger State Governor lauds election process

Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger State in North Central Nigeria has described the Gubernatorial and House of Assembly election process as peaceful.

Governor Sani Bello along with his wife Dr Amina Abubakar Bello voted at the Mustapha Alkali Polling Unit, Kontagora area of the State known as zone C.

The Governor in a statement by his spokesperson Mary Noel Berje, commended the electorate for turning out to exercise their franchise.

“It has never been this easier in the previous elections. The process is very seamless, the turnout is not too bad. Electorates should vote peacefully“, he said.

Other electorates who came out to vote were impressed with the process and voter turnout as well as the general conduct of the exercise.
