The senator representing Anambra South senatorial zone, Dr Ifeanyi Ubah, has appreciated and empowered over 10, 000 constituents and members of his political party, the Young Progressives Party from Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Ubah empowered them with Tricycles, Motorcycles, sewing machines, grinding machines, generator sets, solar powered charging points, POS machines, standing fans, clippers and gas cookers.
Presenting the items, Senator Ubah expressed thankfulness to the people of Nnewi North for their trust in him which made them to vote for him for a second term in the red chambers.
Tangible materials
Senator Ubah emphasised that his appreciation package were tangible materials which would help them make money on daily basis.
In his welcome address, the Director General of Ifeanyi Ubah Campaign Organization, Chief Vin Onyeka thanked the people for voting Dr Ubah again and praised the party supporters for all their efforts and sacrifices to the progress of the party.
Reacting, the Anambra state Chairman of the party, Mr Moses Obi thanked Senator Ubah for his kind gesture and urged the beneficiaries to make effective use of their items to maximize profits.
Beneficiaries who were drawn from the ten wards in the four quarters of Nnewi: Otolo, Uruagu, Umudim and Nnewichi filled the venue of the event at Ifeanyi Ubah Stadium, Nnewi.
The event was a climax of Senator Ubah’s “Thank You Tour” to Aguata, Orumba North and South, Nnewi South and Ekwusigo Local Government Areas where he also distributed several empowerment items to the members of the YPP and supporters in the areas.
