Sudan Crisis: APC Youth Leader Commends AirPeace For Rescuing Nigerians

The All Progressives Congress APC, National Youth Leader, Dayo Israel has commended the Airpeace Airline Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Allen Onyema for his initiative to rescue Nigerians who were stranded in Sudan following crisis that erupted in the country.

The recent military crisis in Sudan between the forces of two rival Army Generals which started on April 15th 2023 has claimed hundreds of lives in north-eastern Africa, Sudan.

The Airpeace boss has however volunteered to help the Nigerian Government bring back her citizens stranded in the heat of the crisis at a no cost-charge on her flights, an initiative which has been applauded by many Nigerians.

Dayo Israel described the gesture as a great sacrifice by Airpeace Airline which will forever be appreciated as he has proven over time to be a great humanitarian and pan Nigerian who has carved a niche for himself globally.

According nto him “I wish Nigerians living in Sudan at this crucial period when the country is in turmoil, comfort, courage, peace and safety. 

“I want to state this categorically that the All Progressives Congress national youth leader, Hon. Dayo Israel has contacted various relevant authorities to ensure the safety and prompt evacuation of Nigerians in Sudan, he equally offered himself for voluntary humanitarian service to ensure all evacuation and rehabilitation processes are seamless due to the psychological trauma they might have gone through.”

“The prayers of over 200million Nigerians are with all nationals residents in Sudan as we hope that the 72 hours ceasefire deal will lead to permanent solution to the crisis.”

He however called on the Foreign Affairs Ministry, National Emergency Management Authority, NEMA and Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, NIDCOM to utilize the 72 hours ceasefire to move Nigerians in Sudan to a safe-haven where they can be airlifted to home safely.
