Leicester City tightened its grip on third place in the Premier League after a 3-0 victory against West Brom at the King Power stadium with goals from Jamie Vardy, Jonny Evans and the in-form Kelechi Iheanacho.
The game was open from the start, with Iheanacho missing a one-on-one chance in the third minute after a poor touch that allowed West Brom goalkeeper Sam Johnstone to close him down. At the other end, Mbaye Diagne missed a good chance to open the scoring for West Brom.
It proved costly as Leicester took the lead after some excellent work by Youri Tielemans in the build-up. The Belgian midfielder broke the offside trap to find compatriot Timothy Castagne and his pass was expertly converted by Vardy.
