Nigeria’s Minister of State for Works, Barrister Bello Muhammad Goronyo, stated that the country, under President Bola Tinubu, is undergoing extensive rehabilitation across all sectors, with the Ministry of Works alone completing over 260 projects across the six geopolitical zones within two years.
Goronyo stated this while speaking to journalists at his residence in Sokoto on the second anniversary of President Bola Tinubu.
He praised President Tinubu’s achievements in just two years in office, saying they have surpassed those of an entire decade.
He further emphasised Tinubu’s commitment to repositioning Nigeria to meet the needs and aspirations of its citizens.
Goronyo highlighted the President’s dedication to Nigeria’s development, particularly in infrastructure, which facilitates investment and generates employment opportunities in the country.
“President Tinubu has cautioned all his cabinet members that their appointments are not for enjoyment, but for dedicated service to safeguard Nigeria’s future,” he said.

He added that Tinubu’s passion and commitment have made a positive impact that feels like more than a decade’s worth of progress.
“Though we inherited numerous incomplete and abandoned projects, many of which are still ongoing, we have surpassed expectations,” he noted.
Goronyo reaffirmed that the Renewed Hope Agenda is being implemented smoothly and continues to receive top priority from all federal cabinet members.
He congratulated President Tinubu and assured Nigerians that more democratic dividends are on the way for sustainable development.
The Minister also praised Governor Ahmed Aliyu of Sokoto State for his transparency and commitment to inclusive governance, noting that the governor’s Smart Agenda is delivering tangible results.
“We will continue to pray for and support him, so that after he is re-elected in 2027, it will be an opportunity to consolidate on the progress already made,” Goronyo added.
