The Anambra State Commissioner for Tourism, Entertainment, and Culture, Comrade Don Onyenji, has announced that Nigerian music sensation Flavour N’abania will headline the grand opening of Solution Fun City on Saturday, June 28, 2025.
The highly anticipated launch will feature a stellar lineup of performers, including renowned highlife duo Umu Obiligbo, traditional music icon Ojadili, and Afro-pop artiste Onye Obodo, among others. The event is open to the public and is expected to draw thousands of guests from across the region and beyond.

Speaking at a media briefing alongside the Commissioner for Information, Dr. Law Mefor, and the Managing Director/CEO of Solution Fun City Ltd., Mr. Mohamed Farrag, on Wednesday at the Solution Fun City, Onyenji emphasized that the new entertainment hub is a fully private-sector-driven initiative. He described it as a game-changer for leisure, tourism, and the creative economy in the state.
“Solution Fun City is not just a fun park—it’s a world-class entertainment and relaxation centre,” Onyenji said. “It features a cinema, children’s play zones, arcade games, six different swimming pools in its waterpark section, and other premium leisure attractions. We are proud to declare it officially open to the public from June 28.”
The project, commissioned by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu last month, is designed to attract both local and international tourists and investors. Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo is expected to attend the opening ceremony.
Mr. Farrag, the MD/CEO of Solution Fun City Ltd., reiterated the facility’s commitment to economic growth and job creation, noting that 85 staff members have already been recruited and trained with comprehensive welfare packages to promote professionalism and service excellence.
“The Fun City will operate primarily on weekends and public holidays, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily,” Farrag said. “We are offering premium yet affordable entertainment, with entry fees ranging from just ₦400 to ₦1,000. We’ve also ensured uninterrupted power supply to support all the sophisticated equipment and entertainment services on-site.”
He added that the centre plans to host a wide range of daily shows, promotional activities, and live events, making it a dynamic hub for families, tourists, and entertainment lovers throughout the year.
