The Anambra State ICT Agency, in collaboration with the Geeks and Founders Alliance for Soludo (GEFAS), has announced the launch of free WiFi access during the Anambra Mega Fest and Grand Opening of Solution Fun City.

The initiative, powered by Pine Heights Systems (PHSWEB), underscores the state government’s commitment to expanding digital access and fostering connectivity for its residents.

In a statement issued by Angela Nwanodu, Public Relations Officer of the Anambra State ICT Agency, the event is scheduled for Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 1 p.m. in Awka, the state capital. It promises a vibrant blend of technological innovation and live entertainment, with Governor Chukwuma Soludo expected to attend as host.

The festival will feature a lineup of musical and comedic performances from top acts including Flavour, Umu Obiligbo, JeriQ, Jennifer Eliogu, Ugoccie, Apete, Ojadili, Ogbuefi I Go Tuk, Onye Obodo, and Prince Neche, among others.

“Technology is one of the greatest equalizers of our time. Through digital access, we are not only empowering citizens; we are deepening civic participation and driving progress,” said Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata, MD/CEO of the Anambra State ICT Agency and Convener of GEFAS.

Nwanodu added that the event marks a significant milestone in Anambra’s journey toward smart governance where technology, inclusivity, and public celebration intersect.

To connect to the free WiFi, users are advised to turn on their device’s WiFi, select “Soludo Solution WiFi,” and follow the prompts on the landing page.
