Minister of Women Affairs, Hajia Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim has congratulated the Super Falcons of Nigeria on their decisive victory over Zambia .
In a congratulatory message, the Minister lauded their outstanding performance on the pitch of play, which led to a 5-0 quarter finals emphatic victory over the Copper Queens of Zambia.
“What a night! Congratulations to our unstoppable Super Falcons on a resounding 5-0 win over Zambia.”
Sulaiman-Ibrahim described the Team’s strength and unity exhibited on pitch, as very inspiring, and a reminder of what happens when women rise.
“Your strength, unity, and drive inspire a generation. You remind us all that when women rise, nations soar,” She noted .
The Minister further expressed immense pride over this accomplished feat, which has led to them clinching a semi final ticket.
“Watching these incredible women dominate the pitch fills me with so much pride not just as a minister, but as a Nigerian woman,” she applauded.
