NYSC ends 2021 rural healthcare in Ebonyi

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC),  in Ebonyi State, Southeast Nigeria has ended their Nationwide free Medical Services for rural Communities in Nigeria.

The NYSC Coordinator in the State, Mrs Mercy Bamai Dawuda state this while addressing Journalists at Agbenyim Mgbalukwu (Iboko market square) Community in Izzi Local Government Area of the State.

Mercy said the NYSC Nationwide free health services scheme has achieved a lot for the nation.

The villagers welcomed us with happiness as am talking to you, Manny of them are already testifying that NYSC has turned their lives around health wise.

The Coordinator said the health program has come to stay in Nigeria.

The healthcare scheme started in 2014 and by grace of God ,it has come to stay.
Today marked the end of 2021 excercise, it started on Monday 21st of June, 2021 with sensitisation, medical Screening and distribution of drugs to those whose medical cases demanded for that”. Mercy added.

She called on all Nigerians to give supports to NYSC to actualize their aim.

Some of the beneficiaries Mr Fidelis Nwiboko and Linus Ominyi expressed joy over the excercise and asked NYSC and Nigeria Government to continue in their good works.
