Some of the Gubernatorial Aspirants under the platform of APC have faulted the primary election process being conducted by the Govenor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State led committee.

The Spokesman of the aggrieved aspirants, George Muoghalu told newsmen in Awka, the Anambra State capital that officials saddled with the responsibility of conducting the election in various wards failed to turn up on time.

Muoghalu who was flanked by 10 out of the 14 aspirants for the primary election, said that ”election did not hold in most venues slated for the exercise.”

He stressed that what ever figures that might be turned out from the process was not acceptable to them.

” We are not happy about the way they handled the election as we had expected the committee to do a good job by providing a level playing field for everyone,” Muoghalu said.

He then called on the committee to allay their fears that the process must have been compromised by them, adding that ”the party believe in democratic ideals for peace and progress.”

The Anambra State Gubernatorial election is billed for November 6, 2021.
