Nigeria’s Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Abubakar Kyari, has celebrated the country’s Vice President, Kashim Shettima, on his 59th birthday anniversary on September 2, 2025, describing him as one who is leading an extraordinary life of courage, vision, and selfless service to the country.
“Your unalloyed loyalty to the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Ahmed Bola Tinubu, GCFR, and commitment to the progress of the country and its people inspire us,” Kyari said.
He noted that Shettima’s inspiring leadership, from his early days in private and public service to his remarkable role as Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, symbolises hope for the people.
“Your intellect, humility, and dedication to national progress reflect a statesmanship that inspires admiration and gratitude.”
The minister prayed that as the vice president marks this special milestone, the Almighty Allah would grant him many more years of good health, wisdom, and strength to keep championing Nigeria’s growth and unity.
“May this birthday bring renewed energy, inner peace, and greater achievements in the noble call of service,” Kyari added.
