
The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) and KONAMI Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd, have concluded an agreement making KONAMI the Official Gaming Sponsor of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), for both the 2025 and the 2027 editions.
Under this partnership, KONAMI, one of the world’s leading interactive entertainment companies, secures exclusive gaming rights to recreate the AFCON within its globally renowned football video game eFootball™ franchise.
“The TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 will be one of the most exciting and widely followed editions of our flagship competition,” CAF General Secretary, Véron Mosengo-Omba said.
“Our partnership with KONAMI reflects CAF’s commitment to innovation, global fan engagement, and creating new opportunities for African youth in both football and digital spaces.”
