Ambassador Odumegwu-Ojukwu emphasised the importance of addressing the humanitarian impact of terrorism, youth employment, and economic opportunities as part of a comprehensive security and migration response.

She further called for expanded Spanish private sector investment, citing opportunities in energy, infrastructure, digital innovation, renewable energy, and agriculture under Nigeria’s ongoing economic reforms.

Both sides also discussed enhanced cooperation in trade, tourism, culture, education, and multilateral engagement, reaffirming their shared commitment to regional stability and democratic consolidation in West Africa.

The engagement concluded with a mutual reaffirmation of Nigeria and Spain’s resolve to deepen their strategic partnership through structured political dialogue, security collaboration, and expanded economic ties based on mutual respect and shared prosperity.
