731 Batch B Corps members in Nigeria have tested positive for COVID-19.
Chairman, Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 and Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, stated this in Abuja, at the National Joint Media briefing.
He said the number cut across all the camps in the 36 States of the Federation, including the Federal Capital Territory.
“Out of the 35,419 in the Batch B, 731 tested positive compared to 108 recorded during the Batch A. It is on record that cases were recorded from Corps Members from every State of the Federation,” he said.
According to the Chairman, the test was carried out using RDTs, in continuation of the NYSC and PTF engagement.
