The All Progressives Congress (APC), has constituted screening and screening appeal committees for aspirants seeking tickets to contest State House of Assembly elections across Nigeria, ahead of the party’s primaries.
The committees cover several states including Taraba, Bauchi, Lagos, Adamawa, Osun, Akwa Ibom, Imo, Anambra, Kano, Kaduna, Borno, Yobe and others.
According to the document signed by the APC National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Argungu each state has a screening committee and a separate appeal committee tasked with handling complaints arising from the exercise.

Among those appointed are Ahmed Nasiru for Taraba, Patric Mangim for Bauchi, Rear Admiral Williams Kayoda (Rtd) for Anambra, Bashir Garga for Kano, Barrister George Ikemu for Kaduna, and Hon. Suleman Isaiku Damagun for Borno as chairmen of their respective screening committees.
The party also named prominent figures to head appeal panels, including Prof. Ahmed Belgore for Gombe, Senator Jeashows Lidani for Yobe, and Barrister Abdul Mahmud for Rivers State.
