The All Progressives Congress (APC) has postponed its House of Representatives Primary Election for the 2027 General Elections to Saturday, May 16, 2026.
The party disclosed this in a statement issued by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.
According to the APC, all other previously announced dates for the Senate, State Houses of Assembly, Governorship and Presidential primaries remain unchanged.
The revised timetable released by the ruling party is as follows:
House of Representatives – Saturday, May 16, 2026.
Senate – Monday, May 18, 2026.
State House of Assembly – Wednesday, May 20, 2026.
Governorship – Thursday, May 21, 2026.
Presidential – Saturday, May 23, 2026
The party, however, did not state reasons for the postponement of the House of Representatives primaries.
