The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr Benjamin Okezie Kalu, has congratulated Muslims across the country as they celebrate this year’s Eid al-Adha, urging them to pray for peace, stability, and the continued progress of the nation.
In his Sallah message, Kalu charged all Nigerians to let the lessons of Eid al-Adha, which include sacrifice, obedience, and faith, guide their daily lives.
He also urged Nigerians to embrace compassion and extend generosity to one another, especially to the poor, the vulnerable, and the less privileged in society, calling on the citizens to pray for wisdom and guidance for leaders at all levels.
