The Action Democratic Party, ADP, in Nigeria, has felicitated with the Muslim Ummah in Nigeria and across the world on the occasion of this year’s Eid al-Adha celebration.
The National Chairman of the party, Mr Yabagy Sani, said the Muslims festival “Is a season of faith, sacrifice, obedience, compassion and renewed commitment to Almighty Allah.”
Mr. Sani stated this in an Eid al-Adha celebration message, “It reminds us of the virtues of humility, patience, generosity, peaceful coexistence and care for the less privileged in society.”
He noted that “As Nigerian Muslims mark this important occasion, the ADP urges all citizens to use the period for sober reflection and prayers for the peace, unity, security and progress of our dear country.”

“Nigeria is passing through challenging times, but with collective sacrifice, responsible leadership, justice, fairness and national commitment, our country can overcome its difficulties and move toward a brighter future.” He stated.
The National Chairman further stated that “The ADP calls on leaders at all levels to embrace the true lessons of Sallah by placing the welfare, security and prosperity of the people above personal or partisan interests.”
“We also urge citizens to remain peaceful, law-abiding and hopeful, while continuing to demand accountable and compassionate governance.” He added.
