China’s Governance Under Xi Jinping’s Leadership has received positive reviews from media, academic and government representatives across Eurasia, following the launch of its Russian edition in St Petersburg.
Participants from China, Russia, Kazakhstan and other Eurasian countries said the book offers insight into Chinese President Xi Jinping’s governance philosophy, highlighting people-centered development, strategic planning, reform, innovation and cultural confidence.
Experts noted that China’s approach to modernisation, policy continuity and national development provides valuable lessons for countries facing economic and geopolitical challenges. They praised China’s achievements in poverty alleviation, technological advancement, infrastructure development and improved living standards, attributing them to effective governance, long-term planning and strong institutional support.

Scholars and analysts from Russia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Belarus said the book explains the principles behind China’s modernisation drive and national rejuvenation while offering practical governance experiences that other countries can adapt to their own development needs. They added that the volume helps international readers better understand China’s development path, governance effectiveness and commitment to improving people’s well-being.
