Nigeria’s Vice President, Kashim Shettima, has arrived in Damaturu, the Yobe State capital, on a working visit to the state.
He touched down at the Muhammadu Buhari International Cargo Airport, Damaturu, at 11:55 GMT.
The Vice President was received by the Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, and members of the State Executive Council.
He is in the state to attend the funeral of the late Emir of Ngazargamu, who recently died in Egypt after a prolonged illness.
