The National Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus, has inaugurated members of the party’s campaign organization for its candidate for the November 6th gubernatorial poll, Chief Valentine Ozigbo.
Inaugurating the members in Awka, Prince Secondus, urged them to step down the campaign in their localities and work for the success of the party.
Represented by the Chairman of the Campaign Organization, Sen Uche Ekwunife, he started the need for them to work with unity of purpose, reconcile aggrieved members and strategize to capture the state.
In a remark, the Director-General of the Campaign Organization, Dr. Alex Obiogbolu, pledged on behalf of other members to deliver the state for the party.
Speaking during the occasion, the standard-bearer of the party for the election, Chief Valentine Ozigbo, said he was confident of the ability of members of the committee to mobilize support for the party and win the election.
He added that he would do all he could to enable the committee to succeed in the task assigned to it as a victory for the party should be its utmost goal.
The State Secretary of the party, Bar Okoli Akirika, who spoke on behalf of the party-state executive, stressed the need for togetherness, sacrifice and commitment on the part of party members to enable them to emerge victoriously.
