Kwara APC holds  stakeholders meeting with Committee members

The Chairman, Ward Congress Appeal Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Kwara state, Barrister Yusuf Bado, has assured members of the APC in the state of  justice and fairness in the discharge of their assignment in the state.  
Bado, who spoke in Ilorin, the state capital, at a well attended stakeholder’s meeting of APC faithful from across the 16 local government areas of the state, recalled the recently concluded ward congresses of the party across Nigeria, assuring party members in the state that genuine complaints would be looked into and addressed by his Committee.
He said: “We came with some appeals already submitted by some members at our national party Secretariat in Abuja. However, those who have not submitted their appeals and still want to do so, have between Monday and Tuesday this week  to do so. This is because the Committee has only five days to submit its report. Such appeals should be submitted at the state’s party Secretariat headed by Alhaji Abdullahi Samari Abubakar. The Committee is going to conduct all its businesses in that Secretariat” he stated.
He  assured members that they would be fair and just in the discharge of their assignment but however, solicited for their cooperation and support and appealed to them to create a conducive environment for them  to do their job.
The state’s Caretaker Chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Samari Abubakar had appealed to party members to sink their differences, tolerate one another and embrace peace to enable the party wax stronger in the state, saying “in any contest there will be a winner and also a loser, if you don’t win today, you can win tomorrow.
Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, who was represented by the state Deputy Governor,  Kayode Alabi, commended APC members in the state for the conduct of peaceful ward congresses in all the 193 wards of the state, urging them not to be complacent but to continue to embrace peace and oneness that would make the party grow in the state.
He said: “Our administration is for Kwara and its people, and we will not relent in pursuit of people oriented programmes for which we were given the mandate.
He urged all to share love, shun any form of bitterness, rancour and agrimony to pave way for peaceful atmosphere of meaningful  development.
