Fly-Pyatic, the aviation subsidiary of Pyatic Group, has received its Air Operator Certificate [AOC] from the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority [NCAA], paving the way for the company to manage third-party aircraft operations.

The certification clears Fly-Pyatic to begin managing partner aircraft fleets under Nigerian regulations

The NCAA presented the certificate to Fly-Pyatic, marking the airline’s entry into commercial operations under Nigerian regulations in Abuja.

With the AOC in place, Fly-Pyatic said it will now provide fleet management services for other operators.

The company described the move as a shift toward an aviation-led business model focused on executive mobility, corporate productivity, and contributing to Nigeria’s aviation economy.

Speaking at the ceremony, Founder and Group Chief Executive Officer of Pyatic Group, HRH Capt Aliyu Ahmad Yakubu, said the certification reflects the company’s commitment to safety and operational standards.

“This AOC is more than a regulatory milestone. It positions Fly-Pyatic to support other operators with professional fleet management while upholding the highest aviation safety benchmarks,” Yakubu said.

Also present were Pyatic Group Chief Operating Officer Bola Adeeko; NCAA Director-General Capt. Chris Ona Najomo; and Engr Godwin Gyang Balang of the NCAA Directorate of Airworthiness Standards [DAWS], who oversaw the certification process.

Capt. Najomo said the NCAA will continue to ensure that new and existing operators meet Nigeria’s civil aviation requirements as the sector expands.

Fly-Pyatic is the aviation arm of Pyatic Group, a diversified Nigerian conglomerate.
The company says its initial focus will be on executive and business charter services.
