President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commended the Group Chief Executive of Oando Plc, Adewale Tinubu, for championing local content development in Nigeria’s oil and gas industry and driving indigenous participation across the energy value chain.
In a congratulatory message signed by the Presidential Spokesperson, Mr Bayo Onanuga, marking the business leader’s 59th birthday, President Tinubu praised the celebrant’s frontline role in promoting environmental protection and acknowledged his visionary leadership in establishing the Oando Foundation in 2011.
The Foundation currently supports more than 88 schools nationwide while advancing community development and environmental sustainability.
He also recognised Adewale Tinubu’s contributions to job creation and national economic growth through strategic investments and landmark transactions in the energy sector.
President Tinubu prayed for the continued well-being of the entrepreneur and his family as he celebrated his new age.
