Anambra State Deputy Governor, Dr Onyeka Chukwu Ibezim, has reaffirmed the Soludo administration’s commitment to supporting educational partnerships and institutional development.
Dr Ibezim gave the assurance while receiving the National Executive Committee of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) Alumni Association, led by its Global President, Professor Iyke Umeh, at the Government House, Awka.
The delegation formally invited Governor Charles Soludo and his deputy to the Second Zikites Converge, a global gathering of UNIZIK alumni scheduled for August 28, 2026.
Professor Umeh described Ibezim as “a worthy ambassador and proud alumnus,” while commending Governor Soludo’s administration for its leadership and development efforts. He also announced that the Deputy Governor would be honoured at the event.
Responding, Dr Ibezim congratulated Professor Umeh on his emergence as Global President and stressed that “leadership demands vision, strategy and preparedness,” urging leaders to act with urgency.
