President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended his heartfelt condolences to his Special Assistant on Social Media, Mr. Segun Dada, following the death of his father, Chief Idowu Folorunsho Dada.
Chief Dada died at the age of 91.
The President described him as an exemplary elder statesman whose life was defined by integrity, discipline, compassion, commitment to family values, and dedicated service to the Church.
President Tinubu noted in a condolence message signed by his Spokesperson, Mr Bayo Onanuga, that the late elder stateman’s remarkable legacy would continue to inspire generations.
He also acknowledged Chief Dada’s role as a devoted father and mentor who raised his children, including Segun Dada, with sound moral values and a strong sense of responsibility.
The President prayed for the peaceful repose of the late Chief Dada’s soul and asked God Almighty to grant comfort and strength to his family during this period of mourning.
He urged the bereaved family to take solace in the enduring legacy of service and the good name left behind by their patriarch, while offering special words of consolation to Segun Dada in this difficult time.
