President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commended the contributions of the National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Archbishop Francis Wale Oke, to higher education, human development and peaceful coexistence in Nigeria.

The President particularly acknowledged Archbishop Oke’s role as co-founder and Chancellor of Precious Cornerstone University, noting that the institution has provided educational opportunities for thousands of Nigerian youths.

Tinubu gave the commendation in a congratulatory message signed by his spokesperson, Mr Bayo Onanuga, as he felicitated the founder of the Sword of the Spirit Ministries on his 70th birthday.

The President described Archbishop Oke as a renowned cleric, author and deeply religious leader whose ministry has been driven by an enduring commitment to the propagation of the Gospel of Christ.

He said the cleric had distinguished himself through integrity, humility, spiritual commitment and courageous leadership, including during his tenure as President of the PFN.

Tinubu also praised Archbishop Oke for consistently championing mutual respect, dialogue, understanding and peaceful coexistence, noting that his words and actions had demonstrated the power of faith to build bridges across religious and social boundaries.

He further commended the cleric’s evangelistic efforts through the Sword of the Spirit Ministries, saying his commitment to spreading the Gospel had reached millions across the world with messages of salvation, hope, faith and restoration.

As you mark this milestone, you have served God faithfully, provided leadership responsibly, built bridges across religious divides, advocated for peace, proclaimed the Gospel, and invested in the future through education,” Tinubu said.

The President prayed that Archbishop Oke would be blessed with renewed strength, sound health and many more fruitful years of service to God and humanity.
