The Tinubu Support Group (TSG) has appointed Chief Paul Chukwuma as its Deputy Director-General for the South-East.
The group announced the appointment in a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Ahmed Kabiru Abdullahi.
The TSG said the appointment was based on Chukwuma’s “leadership experience, grassroots engagement, professional background, humanitarian contributions and commitment to national development and democratic governance.”
According to the group, his new role is expected to strengthen its coordination, mobilisation and stakeholder engagement across the South-East.
“Chief Chukwuma’s combination of academic excellence, legal training, political experience, institutional leadership, educational development and humanitarian service brings a broad range of experience to his new role,” Ahmed said.
Chukwuma, a lawyer and businessman, previously served as National Auditor of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Working Committee.

He was also the Young Progressives Party (YPP) candidate in the November 8, 2025 Anambra State Governorship Election.
The TSG said his previous political experience had given him exposure to “electoral politics, political organisation, stakeholder engagement and grassroots mobilisation.”
Chukwuma holds first-class degrees in Philosophy from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and Law from Baze University, Abuja.
He also holds a Master of Laws in Intellectual Property and IT Law, with Distinction, from the University of Derby, United Kingdom, and is an alumnus of Lagos Business School.
In the education sector, the statement said Chukwuma has served as Pro-Chancellor of Benue State University since June 2024 and is also Founder and Pro-Chancellor of Olivia University, Bujumbura, Burundi.
The TSG also highlighted his humanitarian activities through the Sir Paul Chukwuma Foundation and his involvement with Rotary International.
According to the group, Chukwuma is a Charter President of the Rotary Club of Umueri and a recipient of the Arch Klumph Society recognition for contributions to Rotary International.
“His appointment as Deputy Director-General (South-East) is expected to further strengthen the Tinubu Support Group’s organisational structure and engagement across the region,” Ahmed said.
The group said Chukwuma would work with its leadership and other stakeholders to deepen coordination, mobilisation and engagement across the South-East.
TSG congratulated Chukwuma on the appointment and expressed confidence in his contribution to the organisation’s activities in the region.
