Côte d’Ivoire will host the U.S.-Africa Business Summit in 2027, Senior Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Kaba Niale has announced.
Niale made the announcement on the sidelines of the Business and Investment Forum organised in the United States by the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA).
She described the selection of Abidjan as both “a token of confidence and a responsibility” for the country.
The prestigious summit is expected to make Côte d’Ivoire a business hub connecting the United States and the African continent and serve as a catalyst for boosting investment, trade and strategic cooperation between Washington and Africa.

According to the government, the choice underscores the excellent ties of friendship and multifaceted cooperation between Côte d’Ivoire and the United States.
In her address, Niale acknowledged key figures including Franck Garcia, U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs, and Florizelle Liser, President and CEO of the Corporate Council on Africa.
She said” U.S. investments in Côte d’Ivoire are already yielding results, citing Cybastion in digital transformation, Starlink in internet connectivity and Zipline in healthcare logistics“.
The minister said Côte d’Ivoire aims to turn investment intentions into concrete projects and encouraged business leaders at the forum to engage in direct dialogue and forge lasting partnerships that address the needs of the population.
With the 2027 Summit in view, Abidjan has confirmed its status as a key economic hub in West Africa, reflecting a rapidly growing Ivorian-American partnership.
