The Secretary of the Campaign Council and Secretary to the State Government, Awwal Tukur, announced the directive, saying the council would review, harmonise and approve the submissions to ensure prompt implementation.

According to Tukur, Fintiri urged the committees to adopt proactive, strategic and result-oriented approaches in developing their work plans to enable the council to begin operations without delay.
He said the work plans must outline clear timelines, budget estimates and implementation strategies, particularly in grassroots mobilisation, media engagement and stakeholder inclusion.

Tukur further urged all committee chairmen and secretaries to treat the assignment as a priority and submit their proposals to the Office of the Secretary to the State Government within the stipulated deadline.
The council expects the submissions to provide a framework for coordinating its activities and implementing its plans ahead of the 2027 general elections.
