Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu requires another four years in office to consolidate his administration’s economic reforms and deliver their intended benefits to Nigerians, calling for public support for his re-election in 2027.
Governor Adeleke made the appeal on Wednesday while speaking at the inauguration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) at the State House Banquet Hall, Presidential Villa, Abuja.
“We must give our father, the president of this nation, time for his reform to work. It’s not easy. Four years is not enough,” he said, adding, “That is why I’m here to throw my weight.”
Governor Adeleke expressed confidence in President Tinubu’s re-election prospects, declaring that he could already “feel the victory coming in 2027.”

“Nobody can stop this movement,” he told the gathering. “We’re going to sing; we’re going to dance all the way back to Aso Rock,” the governor stated.
He noted that Nigerians are more interested in action and not speeches.
“We don’t have time. The work has begun. I’ve already started mine.
“Let us rise and make sure our president comes back for the second time,” he siad.
The governor also asked Nigerians to keep praying for their leaders.
He stated, “Continue praying for Mr President. If he succeeds, we all succeed. And I know by the special grace of God, we shall get there.”
Adeleke was named the coordinator of Tinubu’s campaign in Osun in a revised campaign council list released on Tuesday, a day before the inauguration.

The list also included the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, who will coordinate the campaign in Rivers State and the FCT, and the Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo.
At the event, the APC National Chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda, described the hall as a “rainbow coalition” of different political parties working together.
The APC will flag off the campaign in Kaduna on October 24.
The presidential election is scheduled for January 16, 2027, according to the Independent National Electoral Commission.
