ADP Announces National Convention for May 29

Bitrus Kozah, Abuja

The National Chairman of the Action Democratic Party (ADP), Yabagi Sani, has announced that the party will hold its National Convention on May 29, 2026.

Sani said the convention would take place a day after the Sallah celebration and called on Nigerians to participate in what he described as a historic occasion.

“The Action Democratic Party prepares to hold its National Convention on Friday, 29th May 2026, just a day after Sallah. We invite all Nigerians to join us in this auspicious, momentous and historic occasion,” he stated.

The ADP national chairman said the convention would provide the party an opportunity to present what he described as a credible leadership alternative for Nigeria.

“At this Convention, the ADP shall present to Nigerians a credible leadership alternative that will usher in a new era of sustained economic growth, national prosperity, peace and happiness for all the people of Nigeria,” Sani stressed.

The party’s 2023 Presidential Candidate stated “We therefore call on all patriotic Nigerians, youths, women, professionals, workers, farmers, entrepreneurs, faith leaders, traditional leaders and all citizens of goodwill to join the ADP now.”
