The All Progressives Congress has announced new dates for its National Assembly primary elections in Zamfara State ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a press statement issued by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Felix Morka, the party said the rescheduled primaries would begin with the House of Representatives election on Monday, May 18, 2026.
According to the timetable released by the party, the Senate primary election will hold on Tuesday, May 19, while the House of Assembly primary is scheduled for Wednesday, May 20.
The governorship primary will take place on Thursday, May 21, while the presidential primary election is slated for Saturday, May 23, 2026.
The party also released dates for appeals arising from the exercises. Appeals for the House of Representatives primary will hold on Tuesday, May 19, Senate appeals on Wednesday, May 20, House of Assembly appeals on Thursday, May 21, and governorship appeals on Friday, May 22.
