The General Minister Of the World International Sacred Peace Movement, Pastor Dermot Njagu, has urged all religious bodies to work together in harmony to ensure peace in Nigeria.

He made the statement in an interview with Voice of Nigeria during the ongoing 53rd annual anniversary celebration at the church project site at Lusada in Ogun State, South-West, Nigeria.

Christians and Mulisms believes in one God and must therefore come together to work toward ensuring Peace and unity in Nigeria”.

He further adviced the federal, state, local governments and all leaders from various organisations to lead by example .

“When you are corrupt and you asked someone not to be corrupt , you are not doing the right thing.

He explained; “ If there is light in the soul, there will be beauty in the person, if there is beauty in the person, there will be harmony in the home, if there is harmony in the home, there will be order in the nation, if there is order in the nation, there will be peace in the world.”

The Regional Envangelist of the World International Sacred Peace, Elder Andrew Osiemi also stated some causes of insecurity in Nigeria, “there is tribalism, injustice, lack of love in Nigeria, no jobs for youths, no good infrastructures”.

He advised the government to follow the footsteps of some good leaders in the country such as General Yakubu Gowon.

“General Yakubu Gowon developed Lagos State during his tenure by building lots of federal government offices such as Trade fair, and National Theatre Igomu among others. He ruled Nigeria for nine years and he did not had any building of his own for these period. General Gowon had the People Of Nigeria at heart that is why the Almighty God is blessing him still today.”

He said that General Gowon was still alive and very strong till today because of his efforts to develop Nigeria as he encouraged the government to emulate good leadership.

The World International Sacred Peace Movement annual anniversary is always been celebrated on the 31st Of December and 1st of January every year.

The annual anniversary is also known as the Passover which the children of Israel observed the night before leaving Egypt.

  3. This is a good one coming from the World International Sacred Peace Movement. Genuine love is the solution to Nigeria’s problem. Nigeria is divided along ethnoreligious lines but the truth is that hatred is underlying ethnicity, tribalism, nepotism, religious bigotry, etc which have torn the country into shreds. If Nigerians can have genuine love for the country and for one another irrespective of tribe, and do the needful as required by the Almighty God, there will be Peace and progress in the nation benefitting every citizen of Nigeria. Thank u great servants of the Most High God!

  4. This is a great message from the servants of God to all. Love is key to a harmoniuos society. Remain blessed men of God
