Nigeria has confirmed 665 new cases of the deadly coronavirus also known as COVID-19.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC confirmed the cases on Saturday night via its official website.
The NCDC also noted that eight COVID related deaths were recorded in the country
“The 665 new cases are reported from 13 states- Lagos (369), Anambra (68), Oyo (63), Akwa Ibom (48), Kwara (28), Rivers(26), Edo(21), Ekiti (15), Ondo (13), Delta (7), FCT (3), Ogun (3), and Gombe (1),” NCDC stated.
These latest figures bring the total number of confirmed cases to 181,962 with 166,826 discharged and 2219 deaths.
