Nigeria has confirmed 835 cases of the deadly coronavirus also known as COVID-19.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC confirmed the cases on Sunday night via its official website.
The NCDC also noted that 10 COVID related deaths were recorded in the country
NCDC noted that the 835 new cases are reported from 12 States- “Rivers-263, Lagos-217, Oyo-128, Edo-45, Kwara-42, FCT-37, Ekiti-35, Ogun-13, Akwa Ibom-11, Imo-11, Bayelsa-10, Plateau-7, Delta-4, Kaduna-3, Benue-2, Niger-2, Sokoto-2, Abia-1, Ebonyi-1, Nasarawa-1,”
These latest figures bring the total number of confirmed cases to 189,175 with 169,626 discharged and 2298 deaths.
