Nigeran Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has set Aug. 11 as an exclusive live premiere date for his forthcoming album, ‘Oriade’, in London.
The singer shared the announcement in a post on his X account, @davido, on Friday.
He wrote: “London! Join me on Aug. 11 at the O2 Forum Kentish Town for a very special show.
“This will be the first and only chance to hear Oriade performed live, so if you want to experience the new album before anyone else. Tickets are on sale now I’Il see you there! “.
Davido had earlier announced to his teeming fans that Oriade, his sixth studio album, would be released on July 31.

Derived from the Yoruba words “ori” (destiny) and “adé” (crown), Oriadé translates to “the crowned head”.
According to him, the album, with lead single “I Know Who I Be”, is to mark his 15 years in music.
“Over fifteen years ago, I decided to trust something I couldn’t fully explain. I just knew music was my destiny,” he
told Billboard.
“The biggest blessings often come from betting on yourself, even when the destination isn’t in sight yet,” he said.
The lead single “I Know Who I Be,” features South African producers Jazzwrld and GL Ceejay.
The 13-track Oriade is a deliberate shift back to his original, high-energy African sound rather than heavily pop-focused cross-overs.
It follows his 2025 Billboard chart hit album “5ive”.
