Kaduna based tourists expert, Tobi Thomas has called for the establishment of cultural and historic tourism hub in Kaduna state, saying that such will bring a positive impact on the world.
In a statement issued to newsman in Kaduna, Thomas disclosed of having a plan to creating a sustainable cultural and historical center in Kaduna state, as a foundation for tourism exploration.
According to him, the blueprint for the center is not just for Nigeria, but for Africa and the world at large.
The expert called on all stakeholders including the government to join hands with him in ensuring that the dream for the creation of a sustainable cultural and historical center comes to reality.
Thomas further explained that the center if build would contribute to preserving and promoting Kaduna’s cultural heritage, generate revenue and create jobs through tourism and cultural initiatives.
This is just as he stressed that the planned center will also showcase Kaduna’s rich heritage, fostering cross-cultural understanding and appreciation and promote global understanding.
“I envision a futuristic center that blends tradition with innovation, that is capable of featuring interactive displays and virtual reality experiences highlighting Kaduna’s history, art, and culture. A replica of traditional Kaduna homes and markets, offering insights into local craftsmanship and cuisine,” Thomas stressed.
He also disclosed of his plan to have a yearly cultural event to be called ‘Rayuwan Kaduna’; a celebration of diverse cultural heritage that would attract tourists from around the world.
